In today's episode of Armoured Women, I'm exploring "The Belt of Truth," the importance of donning the Armour of God in the order laid out in Ephesians 6 and why "The Belt of Truth" is the first piece of the armour.
My emphasis - as always - is the power of knowing our identity in Christ and the promises of God, which fortify us against the enemy’s tactics.
And what about our cultural and societal influences that often mislead us from God’s truth and grace? I bring this all back to why I advocate adopting a kingdom mindset.
Why?
Because whatever you believe in life will determine your actions and how you live. The belt of truth is so named because it holds every other part of the armour in place.
- What is the significance of the Belt of Truth being the first piece of God’s armour?
- Why knowing God’s truth essential for manifesting His glory in your life
- How your culture or upbringing influence the “truths” you believe
- Finding the gaps in your spiritual armour that could give the enemy access
- Asking God to reveal the lies you may be believing about yourself or Him
In John 8:32, Jesus tells us "I am the way the truth and the life..."
In other words, if we want life, we must first seek truth.
