Who Is Trish Jones?
I'm a mother, daughter, wife, aunt, entrepreneur and ministry leader who is passionate about living my message and empowering women to rise up and take their place of influence in life and business.
My journey began in 2002 when I decided not to return to work after my maternity leave because a "selfish passion" overshadowed me and I wanted no one to raise my baby girl, except me ... and her daddy of course. 🙂
Just 2 months prior to the birth of little Elodie, both my husband and I graduated our MBA, but I never wanted to start my own business ... until now. During a marriage seminar of all things (talk about perfect timing), I twisted my husband's arm to allow me to start my own Life Coaching Business.
He reluctantly said yes, I started, and then there was an interesting turn of events ... people from all over the globe began asking me about my website and sought my help to get their businesses online. And somehow, and untentionally, I merged life coaching with business coaching, and have never looked back.
Why I Do What I Do?
Hint: It's More Than Just About Ministry
In 2006, I started my ministry website, Women of Influence, which I sold 3 years ago for a handsome sum because quite frankly, I'd had enough of ministry.
God wasn't done with me yet though, and I began to see some of the issues women faced ... that feeling of being unfulfilled and failing in almost every area of their lives because they feel trapped by the constant messages to "do more," or "do it this way because you're doing it all wrong."
In addition, they feel as though the abuse, divorce, rejection etc, made them unworthy and the events of their past nullified their purpose.
When I saw this, I cried from my belly, because I literally felt their pain.
It was then that I promised God in the midnight hour that I would help women embrace their identity and show them that their purpose remained intact no matter what their past looked like. I promised I would help them discover and magnify their gifts and show those womenwho thought they had messed up too much to be used by God why their purpose can never be tarnished by their past.
